Hello Crusaders!  My name is Carol Brengelman. I am one of the Co-Directors of Ohio Christian Academy. I have been married for almost 27 years, and have three beautiful children. My oldest son, Andrew, is engaged to his girlfriend of 9 years. My daughter, Lydia, is married to her wonderful husband, Bailey, and they are expecting their first child in November. Avery, my youngest, will be attending Ohio Christian University in the fall. He will be playing soccer and JV Basketball for them while taking classes to earn his BA. This year, I have the pleasure of going back into the classroom to teach our 3rd-6th graders. Teaching is my true calling, and I am excited to be returning. As a school, we are moving to a more hands-on,  project-based learning style. Many academic studies have proven that this style of teaching helps students to retain information long-term, which is (or should be) the goal of education. We will be staying true to our mission statement, which is to educate the Whole child, Mind, Body, and Spirit. You will be able to see the progress of our students' learning at our showcase each quarter, so mark your calendars, because you won't want to miss it!

Hello OCA Families!  My name is Miss Caitlyn, and I will be a teacher's aide at OCA this year. I have worked at OCA  off and on since the school opened, and I am excited to be returning this school year. I have a beautiful daughter, Winnie, who will be one in November.
